Auto Injury

Auto accidents unfortunately do occur and with them come injuries. Injuries sustained in an auto accident do not always present themselves right away, but can take days or weeks to manifest. It is important to let your treating physician or therapist know of any new pains or symptoms that may appear during your treatment.

At Center for Advance Bodywork we treat a wide range of auto accident patients, from "minor" fender benders to multiple rollover accidents. Damage to the car isn't always an indication of the damage to the person, even the "smallest" accident, as slow as 5 mph, can cause soft tissue damage. Our clinic, through the use of massage, physical therapy, and chiropractic can address and treat auto related injuries by addressing all aspects of your musculoskeletal system.

What is MedPay?

MedPay is short for Medical Payments. This is a specific type of coverage on your auto insurance policy intended to help pay for health related services following a motor vehicle accident. In 2009, the state of Colorado mandated that all insurance companies provide MedPay when the policy renewed or a new policy was purchased. In order for you to not have this coverage, you must sign a document stating you wish to decline MedPay. For most policies the amount of premium increase is only a few dollars a month, for which you receive thousands of dollars of coverage. This coverage has been very beneficial for many of our patients in limiting their out of pocket expenses post auto accidents. If you have any questions regarding MedPay, please contact the clinic at 970-663-6501.
