Josh Crill, NCMMT

Originally from Prescott, Arizona, Josh located in northern Colorado in 1993 to attend CSU as a Wildlife Biology major. After 3 weeks, he dropped out of CSU, and pursued a certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician. Emergency medicine peaked his interest in the human body, and Josh went on to receive his associate degree in Anatomy & Physiology. After deciding not to pursue Medical School, he applied and was accepted to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. However, a fresh marriage in 1996 to his wife Cheryl, and the importance of family kept him from moving to the Kansas City area, so he pursued massage therapy instead. Since then, Josh has never looked back. He has been practicing Medical Massage since 1997, and has become an authority in the industry.

“The education that I received while at the Healing Arts Institute in Ft. Collins in 1997 gave me the foundation and the passion for understanding the complexities of the human body. It also gave me the opportunity to treat the whole Person — body, mind, and spirit — and deal with the challenges brought forth in each patient. I dedicate myself to the prospect of bringing you health, happiness, and wholeness. My goal is to synergize with traditional approaches to healing and bring you a varied, complementary approach to health.”

“The possibility of achieving an elite status as a therapist, relies greatly on continuing education. The coursework that I have studied over the past 10 years has been crucial in solidifying my expertise as a therapist. Considered by my peers as an expert in Craniosacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, and Medical Massage Therapy, it is my passion to stay at the forefront of the industry by helping set new industry standards. In 2004 I was one of the first therapists in the United States to be granted the ability to use the title of Nationally Certified Medical Massage Therapist.”

“In the ever-changing field of medicine, it is vital to maintain professional commitment to the industry. In 2004 I was asked to become a national instructor for The Medical Massage Office and Associates. Teaching Neuromuscular Re-education nationwide gives me a chance to network and teach with the top therapists in the United States. I also was elected as President of the United States Medical Massage Association Colorado Chapter which keeps me on the cusp of industry changes and allows me to be a part of the decision making process for the future of massage therapy.”
